Woah, songalong is starting to get cobwebs…
Anyway, we now have avatars! Woo! I mean, they’re only sketches, and pretty poor ones at that, but they’re progress, and I like them. More importantly, now we have faces! Boo yah!

Becky and I are gonna be blogging together!
Which means, of course, she’ll do most of the blogging, and I’ll jump in every now and again, to stop the blog from becoming too bitter and twisted.
The links are here (for the comic) and here (for the blog)
There aren’t actually any comics up yet, because I’m not comfortable enough with the art, but they’re not far away now, I promise.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Unlike some bitter hags, I happen to love christmas, and I have every intention of enjoying this day. I hope you can all do the same, and ignore her.

Man, blogging is weird. You’ll write down stuff that you would never say in real life, not even to your friends, then put it up on the internet for anyone at all to read. And you won’t feel at all weird about it. And rarely do we talk about it in real life.
It’s not just blogging, either. Myspace, Facebook, whatever. We’re so caught up in the feeling of digital liberation that we lose track of what we’re comfortable with. MSN and the like are the same. We can have conversations on them that we would never have in real life. It’s so weird, and we don’t even question it.
And usually, when we do, it’s always as a a bad thing. But I was thinking, it’s not such a bad thing. We’re so very closed off, we’re afraid of doing or saying anything that might offend someone, or conflict with our reputation. The percieved anonymity of the internet lets us be more ourselves, to say and do the things we can’t do in real life, and that’s not such a bad thing, is it?
I, for one, am grateful that people still have an avenue to express what they really feel, without fear of repurcussions or anything.

Becky got a blog, so I decided I wanted one too. It looked like fun. And guess what… it is!
